Who Is Eligible for the Flourish Africa Grant?
As stated above, the Flourish Africa Grant is only meant for female entrepreneurs in Nigeria and Africa only, and the female entrepreneur must be in the age range of 18 years minimum and 50 years maximum.
Any female entrepreneur that co-owns the business with a man must then prove that she has over a 51% stake in the business.
Flourish Africa Grant Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Flourish Africa Business and Life Skills training, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Applicants must be between 18 and 50 years old.
• Applicants must be female entrepreneurs. Where the business is co-owned with a man, the female applicant must own at least 51% of the business.
° Applicants must have access to an internet-enabled device that will allow them to participate in the virtual training programme for four months.
• The programme targets businesses in the startup phase.
• The business must be located in Nigeria. Specific eligible locations may be announced for each programme cycle.
° The applicant business in Nigeria must be based in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja.
° The applicant business must have operated for at least 12 months.
° Applicants who have previously benefited from or participated in the previous cohort are not eligible to apply.

Flourish Africa Training and Mentorship Programme
Training is an important component of the entrepreneurship support programmes of the Flourish Africa Grant. Participants and candidates will be mandated to go through 4 months of training, and that is why candidates are mandated to have stable internet connections. Training areas can include the following:
