Available Positions for FRSC Recruitment 2026

The positions advertised in the recruitment exercise are grouped into three major categories.

° First Category – Officer Cadre

Officer Cadre – Assistant Route Commander (CONPASS 08)

° Applicants must possess a B.Sc., BA, HND, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of learning.

° Relevant qualifications may include NYSC discharge/exemption certificate where applicable.

° Applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 35 years of age.

° First Category – Superintendent Route Commander

° Superintendent Route Commander (SRC) – CONPASS 11

° Applicants must possess a first degree in MBBS/MBCHB (medical doctors) from a recognized institution of learning and an NYSC discharge/exemption certificate.

° Applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 35 years old.

First Category – Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander

Route Commander/Deputy Route Commander (RC/DRC) – CONPASS 10/09

° Applicants must possess a first degree in relevant fields such as

° Pharmacy,

° Nursing,

° BMLS,

° LLB/BL

• Engineering courses from recognized institutions

• Other relevant professional qualifications stated by the Corps

° Applicants must possess an NYSC discharge/exemption certificate and must be between 18 and 35 years old.

Second Category – Marshal Inspectorate Cadre

Marshal Inspector II & III – CONPASS 07 & 06

° Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications from recognized institutions, including NCE and NDOND.

• RN/RM

• Other recognized equivalent qualifications

° Applicants must not be less than 18 years or more than 30 years old.

Third Category – Road Marshal Assistant Cadre

Road Marshal Assistant II & III – CONPASS 04 & 03

° Applicants must possess a minimum of three credits in SSCE (GCE/WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) in not more than two sittings, including English language and mathematics.

° Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.

Drivers/Riders and Artisans

° Available positions include computer operators, drivers, mechanics, motorcycle riders, electricians, instrumentalists, and tailors.

Plumbers and other relevant trades

° Applicants are required to possess relevant trade qualifications/certificates where applicable.

° Drivers and motorcycle riders must possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s license.

° Drivers and riders should generally be between 26 and 40 years of age, according to the recruitment notice.

General Requirements for FRSC Recruitment 2026

• Applicants must be Nigerian by birth.

• Applicants must be computer literate.

• Possession of a valid National Driver’s License will be an added advantage for all cadres.
