The Civil Defence, Correction, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the shortlisted candidates for the oral interview as part of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.
The notification is for candidates who participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening exercise for recruitment into the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The Board has stated that it has concluded the assessment and shortlisting process.
CDCFIB Oral Interview Shortlist for Graduate Candidates
All successful candidates who applied under the Graduate Category are required to visit the official CDCFIB recruitment portal to check whether they have been shortlisted for the oral interview.
Graduate candidates are to visit the portal from:

CDCFIB Oral Interview Shortlist for NCE/OND/SSCE Candidates
Candidates who applied with NCE/OND/SSCE are also required to visit the same official CDCFIB recruitment portal to check for the shortlisted successful candidates for the oral interview.
They are to visit the portal from:
Monday, 7 September to Wednesday, 9 September 2026

CDCFIB Will Not Send Emails to Candidates
The CDCFIB has stated that it does not and will not send out emails regarding the recruitment exercise.
Candidates are therefore expected to obtain all communications through the official recruitment portal.
Applicants should take note of the official portal address and use it to access legitimate updates concerning the recruitment exercise.
Shortlisted Candidates to Select Interview Details
Candidates who have been shortlisted for the final exercise are required to select:
- A venue nearest to them
• A date
• A time
After selecting these details, candidates are required to print their letters of invitation.
Shortlisted candidates must also appear strictly in the dress code specified in their letters of invitation.
The Board further stated that only candidates who are shortlisted for the final exercise will be granted access to the venue.
CDCFIB Recruitment Exercise Is Free
The Board has reiterated that the entire recruitment process is transparent and FREE OF CHARGE.
Applicants have been advised to disregard any individual or group demanding payment for employment in whatever form.
Candidates are also advised to report anyone demanding payment for employment to the nearest security agency or person in authority.

The Board emphasized that all legitimate communications concerning the recruitment exercise will occur through the official portal and not via email.
